Backyard Trapping Stories – Heywards Point Stoat Trap Rollout

Partnerships with local communities are critical to the work of the Halo Project and Predator Free Dunedin. Volunteers do a huge amount of the physical work needed to deliver predator control across the Halo area.

A stoat control network spanning 2000 ha of Heyward Point is now operational. As the team began installing the traps, two of Halo’s heroes (NAME & NAME [from Jonah]) explain just why they do it.
