Bell & Ross unveils the BR-05 Skeleton Arctic Blue, an open-worked timepiece featuring a unique sapphire dial that mimics cracked ice on frozen Arctic waters. Known for its aviation and military-inspired designs, the brand takes inspiration from icy landscapes with this striking creation.
The highlight of the BR-05 Skeleton Arctic Blue is its intermediate sapphire dial, laser-engraved and pad-printed to replicate the depth and frost-like patterns of Arctic cracks. Tinted in light blue, it complements the metallic ice-blue inner flange, creating a layered, frozen effect. This distinctive dial is protected by a standard sapphire crystal and enhances the open-worked movement beneath.
Technically, this watch maintains the signature features of previous BR-05 Skeleton models, blending luxury sports watch aesthetics with Bell & Ross’s iconic square bezel and integrated bracelet. The 40mm case, with a slim 10.3mm profile, is crafted for both style and durability, offering a 100m water resistance and a screw-in crown.
Powering the watch is the caliber BR-CAL.322-1, based on the Sellita SW300. It operates at a 4Hz frequency and boasts an upgraded 54-hour power reserve. The movement showcases matte sandblasted finishing and a full rotor visible through the ice-inspired dial.
The BR-05 Skeleton Arctic Blue comes with either a polished steel bracelet or a white rubber strap. Exclusively available through Bell & Ross boutiques and online, this limited-edition piece is capped at just 250 units.
