Embracing adventure with the brand’s new vintage-inspired aquatic model.
Oris divers watches blend modernity and vintage charm. While the recently revised Aquis showcases the brand's modern dive watch, the Divers Sixty-Five collection, as its name suggests, draws inspiration from the past. The Divers Sixty-Five, first introduced in 2015 and modeled after a 1965 original, quickly became a favorite. This latest version combines a forest green dial and bezel with a versatile 40mm case and classic automatic movement.
The first reissue of the Divers Sixty-Five featured a 40mm case, a date at 6 o'clock, and a unique dial with trapezoidal markers. Over time, Oris refined this model with a more traditional dial layout and a date at 3 o'clock in a larger 42mm case. Today, the Divers Sixty-Five Date returns to its roots with a perfectly sized 40mm case, offering aquatic capabilities and a nature-inspired color scheme.
This year’s standout feature is the forest green dial and bezel. The bezel, made of anodized aluminum, sports a metallic green tone with a fully graduated 60-minute scale and is unidirectional. The dial features a gradient effect, transitioning from a lighter green in the center to a darker shade at the edges. Traditional applied markers and hands, filled with white luminescent material, complete the look, with a date window positioned at 6 o'clock.
The watch retains classic features of the Divers Sixty-Five Date, including a 40mm case that is easy to wear, a 48mm lug-to-lug length, and a 12.8mm thickness, enhanced by a double-domed sapphire crystal. It offers 100m water resistance, a screw-down crown, and a screwed steel back. Inside, the watch houses the Oris caliber 733, based on the Sellita SW200 architecture, with a 4Hz frequency and a 41-hour power reserve.
The Gradient Green Oris Divers Sixty-Five Date 40mm, worn on a rivet-style stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp, is now part of Oris's permanent collection.
