My house is near a wildlife refuge so we have good habitat for many Minnesota species. When I see something interesting I’ll make a highlight clip and upload it to my Youtube channel.
I assembled this feeder station many years ago and have had a web camera since 2008. I sometimes adjust the feeder configuration according to season and what birds I want to attract. In the winter, I add more suet, during migration I have oriole feeders, etc.
The weather info at the bottom of the screen is pulled directly from my Davis weather station, using some scripts I wrote to extract the data and overlay it on the webcam image.
