Rescued Stoat Plucks up Courage to Explore | Rescued & Returned to the Wild | Robert E Fuller

This young rescue stoat wants to explore its new outdoor enclosure, but first it must pluck up the courage to leave the safety of its comfort-hat.

You can watch this stoat’s rehabilitation journey in this series: and find more rescue films here: />

Stoat Rescue

This stoat is roughly six weeks old and is ready for slow release back to the wild. But first it must get used to outdoor life.

Comfort Hat

The stoat has used this old hat since it first arrived here at Fotherdale after being discovered abandoned. When it was time to introduce the stoat to its new outdoor enclosure I brought the hat along with the stoat to make sure it felt at home.

I am a British wildlife artist and filmmaker on a mission to share my love for wildlife with the world. As well as creating detailed animal film and art portraits, I promote wildlife tours around the world and do all I can to help conserve and protect wildlife here at my home in Yorkshire. I hope that by putting nature in the frame I can foster a deep love for wildlife amongst my followers.

Of course you may like to purchase my artwork which you will find on my website: Many of my paintings are portraits of the wonderful characters you watch here!
