Did you know that stoats have incredible climbing skills? Watch this one scale a four metre high tree to investigate an owl nest box, then drop down the sheer interior walls like a Ninja.

*ABOUT THIS FILM*

Stoat skills
These animals can reverse their back legs to climb backwards – uphill! Members of the weasel family, stoats are so small and elusive not much is known about them . And yet they possess incredible superpowers – including whiskers on their tails that help them reverse out of tiny spaces, enormous brains for their size, and the ability to swim.
For more stoat super powers read my blog: /
Bill and Bandita the stoat
This particular stoat was born this year. Named Bill, he is one of a litter born to Bandita who became famous after she featured on a BBC Natural World documentary about Weasels. You can read more about her here: /
