Stoat – Don’t play no game that I can win

AKA Stoat and friends go to a dancing lesson

Mixed by Chris O’Brien and Graham Murphy at The Production Suite.

Featuring dancers from The Academy of Performing Arts in Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland. Also featuring various other messers :p

Don’t play no game that I can win.
Oh no it’s too distracting.
Forget victory, and forget defeat.
I just wanna move my feet
Around the dancefloor.
We don’t wanna pretend
It was worth it because we won in the end.
So forget about the outcome
We just wanna have fun.
I’m not interested in riches,
I just wanna scratch my itches.

Don’t play no game that I can win.
Oh no it’s too distracting.
Second guessing how I should be acting.
I don’t play no game that I can win.

Who’s keeping score?
We don’t do that anymore.
It makes the winner smug and the loser sore
And turns the game into a bore.
Now is all we have, now is all we’ve got.
So when choosing a course of action, the decision is based on whether or not
We like it.
All endeavour is futile
So I’m just gonna do something that makes me smile.

Don’t play no game that I can win.
Oh no it’s too distracting.
Second guessing how I should be acting.
I don’t play no game that I can win.
